The General Insurance Council of Saskatchewan Bylaws recognize various courses of study in order to apply for a General Insurance licence.  The Fundamentals of Insurance Course and the CAIB Courses are administered by IBAS.

Successful completion of an examination on the General Bylaws is also required in order to apply for a General Insurance Salespersons Licence.
