An insurance broker has a professional responsibility to provide the highest possible quality of service to clients and to maintain the highest professional standards.  This is accomplished through professional training for brokers, staff and new people joining the industry.

IBAS is an accredited continuing education course provider. It promotes the maintenance and enhancement of professional growth by offering a wide variety of continuing education seminars, professional certification programs and professional designation programs  to enhance insurance-related and other skills.

Continuing Education

IBAS will issue a certificate of completion indicating the number of continuing education credit hours earned for all IBAS education programs.  It is imperative that licensed general insurance brokers maintain a record of their credit hours as they will be required to disclose them on their annual licence renewal form to the General Insurance Council of Saskatchewan (GICS).
