course information Customer Service for the Insurance Professional (CSIP) is a four-part program designed by IBAC dealing with the critical service role of the Customer Service Representative. It deals specifically with customer service and other industry issues in a brokerage setting. It focuses on the exact job functions of those who deal with the clients of an insurance brokerage. With competitiveness in the industry rapidly increasing, it is imperative that your customer service stands out. Insurance brokerages must maintain the reputation they have earned for excellence and dependability in customer relations. Ensure that your office has a consistent, high-quality customer service approach. Both individual brokers and entire offices have taken the program with measurable results. Students work through the course at their own pace with the assistance of a mentor (i.e. manager, owner) within their brokerage office. The mentor serves as coach, providing students with guidance in areas where they require assistance. At the end of each module, there is a summary and review of the text, including multiple choice and short answer questions. The mentor reviews the answers to these questions and verifies the successful completion of the module. A certificate of completion is presented to the student upon completion of the first module. A seal is added to the certificate for the completion of each additional module.
