course information

The Best Practices Program assists independent insurance brokers with benchmarking their operations against the operations of the top 150 performing brokerages in North America. The foundation of the IBAC program is the ground breaking Best Practices Study developed by the IIABA (Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America). The study identifies the “characteristics” of leading agencies/brokerages, and provides benchmarks of performance to measure your brokerage against.

The Best Practices Program is the most comprehensive brokerage management course available in Canada.  It is designed to help brokerage principals identify operating strengths and weaknesses, giving them the tools to improve their brokerage’s value.  It is an excellent program for new and experienced brokerage principals alike. The information will help you do an in-depth financial analysis of your brokerage, comparing figures such as net revenue, growth rates, profit percentages and commissions.

IBAS offers the Best Practices Course in an immersion format to get brokerage principals and key personnel away from their offices in order to make strategic choices about the future of their brokerage.
